Despite the reasonable length of this book at just over 300 pages, I sped through it, I couldn't put it down as it just got better and more intriguing as it progressed. A great standalone book filled with mystery, secrets, twists, turns, danger, steam and two unique and fascinating main characters, great plot and super well written. I definitely recommend being careful of reading other reviews before reading the book (preferably don't do it) as some give away spoilers without warning and I think you would be much better off going blind into the book (like I did). I can't wait for more in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

"It's best to never let anyone in this world know when something is important to you." I feel like I should start this with a flashing warning in all capital letters: Do NOT read any reviews that discuss the plot of this book. Even better, just avoid all reviews and go read the book cold. There are several big secrets in this story that will ruin it for you if you know them in advance so it's better not to to risk it. Trust me, you don't want to know. My spoiler-free review. I was blown away by this book! Absolutely blindsided, again and again. Alik was definitely not who I thought he was. The violent side didn't suprise me. I knew he was cold and detached. And for awhile I was a bit concerned how he was ever going to let himself feel anything real for Olive. But once he did, it was amazing to watch. Olive... What can I really say about her that doesn't give anything away? She's incredibly complex, completely unpredictable and yet so vulnerable and lonely. You'll see what I mean.

Alik & Olive: Book 2 of Las Vegas Petrov Bratva: Dark Bratva romance/ enforcer & DEA’s daughter: Read trigger warnings. Interconnected standalone. Nicole Cypher’s writing style captivated me right away. The unique and complex characters and the storyline kept me hooked. I couldn’t get enough of Alik & Olive. I expected the action and suspense, but the humor (maybe dark humor) surprised me. Loved this fantastic read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
