This book focuses on the impact of nutritional disorders on the nervous system. Nutritional disorders are caused due to poverty, famine, infestations, ignorance in the developing world and due to food faddism, isolation, depression, addictions, and comorbidities in the developed countries. Dr U K Misra was the founder Head of Department of Neurology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India (1987 -2018) and presently is Director and Head of Neuroscience at Apollo Medics Super Specialty Hospital, Lucknow.
Dr J Kalita is presently working as Professor, Department of Neurology, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
