Anders als der herkömmliche Migrationsdiskurs strebt das postmigrantische Paradigma eine gegenhegemoniale Wissensproduktion an mit dem Fokus, Migration neu zu erzählen und statisch-binäre Kategorien der (Nicht-)Zugehörigkeit zugunsten migrationsgesellschaftlicher Uneindeutigkeiten und Hybriditäten in Frage zu stellen.
