Nathaniel Granger, Jr., PsyD, is the founder and director/ psychotherapist at Be REAL Ministries, Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He tirelessly devotes time to working with homeless and disenfranchised populations, and is the current secretary of the American Psychological Association Society of Humanistic Psychology, and, most recently, its president-elect. He is also a board member of the Rocky Mountain Humanistic Counseling and Psychological Association, where he serves as treasurer. He also serves on the Diversity Taskforce of the National Association of Poetry Therapy. Additionally, he is an adjunct psychology professor at Pikes Peaks Community College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and at Saybrook University in Oakland, California. He is a published author and is particularly passionate about Silent Screams: Poetic Journeys of Addiction and Recovery. In vivo experiences, interests in civil rights, and a love for God and humanity form the substrata upon which a majority of his work in academia, writing, and public speaking is predicated. Dr. Granger’s family is the catalyst for his humanitarianism and the wind beneath his wings.
Louis Hoffman, PhD is the Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Humanistic Counseling and Psychological Association (www.rmhcpa.org) and a licensed psychologist in private practice. He has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and five of divisions of the American Psychological Association (1, 10, 32, 36, 52) for his contributions to the field of psychology. He serves of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Humanistic Psychology (Senior International Editor), the Journal of Constructivist Psychology, and The Humanistic Psychologist. An avid writer, he has published over 15 books and over 100 journal articles and book chapters.
