When socialite Mycah and bad-boy Achilles hook up after meeting at a bar, it's only supposed to be for one night. But when she's offered a job at his family's firm, she can't refuse. Her parents want her to make a play for his high-society brother, and Achilles has no interest in being the guy she's slumming with. Can she break down his walls and convince him that he's the man she wants? Simone is an exceptional writer, her prose dazzling and vivid. Mycah and Achilles are strong and independent characters, unwilling to bend to the manipulations of others. Achilles' wounds are difficult to overcome, but Mycah is patient with him, seeing him for who he really is. It's a hot, emotional read. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

How do you handle feeling alone even though you’re surrounded by others? Like the book before it, there are a lot of big emotions in this story. A bunch of them are tangled up in the confusing feelings Achilles and Mycah have for their parents. There’s also some heavy baggage from previous romantic relationships tripping the pair up. I really liked these two even though there were times that I wanted to take them and shake some sense into them. My heart bled that Achilles didn’t feel confident enough in the connection to his brothers to fully trust them. And it ached to see the horrible treatment that Mycah put up with from her parents. I adored the ending and I’m dying to see what’s going to happen with the youngest Farrell son. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

Mycah and Achilles Story was truly delightful! Potent emotions and powerful desires combine into an enticing mixture that goes down sinfully easy. I liked Mycah and adored Achilles. Hot and emotionally wounded, he was 100% pure catnip to me. The sparks fly, the banter zings, the steam sizzles and your heart melts as this wonderful book hits you with epic feels and major swoon. I am electing to post a unbiased review of my own accord.
