Princess Molly enters a talent quest with the best intentions …

… but she never expects two powerful forces to rise to stop her.

When Princess Molly’s friend, Cook Henny, gets sick, Molly sees a chance to help. She enters a talent contest to win money for a special gift to cheer up her friend, and sets off on an exciting adventure in a strange new land.

But it’s tough—a relentless bully is causing trouble, and Molly has to deal with a scary fear from her past. As things get harder, Molly must find the courage to stand up to her adversary and win the contest.

Will Molly be brave enough to beat her fears and help Cook Henny?

About the author

Inspired by a multitude of mystery stories, the young teenage Carmen Allen had a dream of her own - to become a fiction writer for children. Her first attempt at writing, which by the way, included a riveting plot involving a missing banana and stolen diamond, was penned secretly in science class when she should have been listening to her teacher.

Fast forward many years and we see Carmen’s dream come true with the debut of her children’s book, ‘Molly’s Big Decision’. Carmen writes about children of character in a world of wonder.

Downtime for Carmen usually involves reading an action novel that champions a hero performing remarkably brave feats. Carmen also loves to bake, design or chat with a friend over a good cup of coffee. She lives on the East Coast of Australia, with her husband and childhood sweetheart.

Steve Allen was always interested in drawing when he was young, but only began to take it seriously later in life.

As a Dad and now a Granddad, he knows just what makes kids tick. He has often put his illustrations to good use during years of working with kids clubs and youth groups.

Now, when he’s not working at his day job as an office manager, he can be found sketching using the paper and pencils left lying all around the house.

In this book, Steve illustrates entirely on iPad. He brings to life several fun new characters, as well as bringing back some well-loved favourites.
