Professor Ray is currently "Prof. S. S. Pani Chair Professor at the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. He has been working at NIT Rourkela since 1989. Prof. Ray's research centres on the impact of extreme environmental conditions on fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites. Dr. Ray has been selected by UNESCO and the Australian Expert Committee for Industries in the Asia-Pacific region based on SCI. He has been serving as a technical advisor to TATA Steel Limited (New Materials Business). He has been serving as the editor of a SCI Journal-Transactions of the Indian Institute of Metals (TIIM) Journal. Prof. Ray holds many distinguished chairs in reputed institutions and committees across the country. He has also supervised 20 PhD scholars. Prof. Ray has published more than 175 SCI Journals and 7 Books (CRC, Elsevier, Springer and Wiley publishing houses), and involved in 25 sponsored projects & consultancy services from various government and leading private industries.Dr. Prusty is working on the development of advanced multiphase composites for improved delamination resistance and for diversified engineering applications. He is involved in 6 sponsored/consultancy projects from various public and private agencies such as NRB (DRDO), CSIR, SERB, TEQIP-NITR, Tata Steel. He has published more than 100 Scopus indexed articles and 2 books.Dr. Rathore's Ph. D investigation is based on the mechanical performance evaluation of hybrid fiber reinforced composites under elevated temperatures. He has authored more than 20 research/review articles on the mechanical performance assessment of fibrous polymeric composites under different environments in high impact composite journals. His research interest lies in the design and development of multiscale fibrous polymeric composites for naval, aerospace, and chemical industries. He has also co-authored a book on fibrous polymeric composites environmental degradation and damage published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group.Mr. Ghosh has academic research experience spanning across the different facets of FRP nanocomposites with particular focus on their environmental durability. Besides, he holds industrial experience in the manufacturing and laboratory characterization of FRP composites. His current research efforts are directed towards the development of novel nano-scale materials and nanocomposites for different sustainable applications.Mr. Anand's Master thesis was on marine application of Graphene Oxide embedded GFRP composites. He has also worked on various short projects during his master's degree such as development of electrophoretic deposition apparatus for fiber surface modification and on lifetime prediction of fiber reinforced polymer composites.
