About the author
Michael Solomon is a former NYC Police officer and the recipient of 19 medals for meritorious and exceptional police work. As a member of the Intelligence Division, Michael has walked with presidents, monarchs, world leaders, the homeless, and the meek.
After 15 years of police work, Michael entered the corporate world of finance and management. Admired by his peers and subordinates he then struck out on his own and became one of the most successful small business owners in his field.
Following his personal success, Michael's charitable work earned him the respect and praise of his community. In 2003, he was honored by the New York State Senate and Assembly as Humanitarian of the Year in a distinguished resolution.
He has written Guest Editorials for national trade magazines and has also been the subject of numerous magazine and news articles. He has appeared as a frequent guest on over 350 radio and television shows as a political and business analyst.
After his retirement in 2003 he began his writing career with two bestselling non-fiction books. “Success By Default-The Depersonalization of Corporate America,” and “Where Did My America Go?”
