Merciless: Volume 1

There are no words that can make this author justice. Each and every book was a breath of fresh air with so much meaning and feelings between each chapter and that is a must for me. I've read my fare share of them and let me just say that they weren't enough. Willow Winters is freaking awesome. Her writing is hot and wild, intense and sometimes dark, full of meaning and purpose. I'm in love with her books and I advise you all to read them. Merciless is her latest release and tells the stories of Carter and Aria. Lets Just say that the Preface was my undoing... Carter focus his life with his business and he's ruthless. He's a very rich man and darkness is always surrounding him Aria always knew how to hide her true feelings. Seing her mother being murdered left marks on her and life isn't fair or easy but when you have a father that's the king of crime... The only thing that makes her smile is when she's drawing, doing it she can lose herself and be happy. And then bamm... Jesus!!! Darkness doesn't even cover what this story was. It had it all from desire to darkness, from loss to survival. Each chapter left me on edge and I thought I couldn't end it. I was almost insane but the need to know more overpowered my fears so I just had to keep reading. The plot is magnificent, very well written, super engaging and stunning. The interation between the characters is raw and intense with so much pressure and darkness between them that I though this book would have a different outcome. Each scene has been described till the smallest detail that I felt like I was there with them. I'm still shaking from the intensity of it and I'm also in love. Oh Willow... You nailed it like always and I'm so glad for the chance to read your books. But I'm so mad. Why? Why woman? Why end it like this? If the first book was this way I can't possibly imagine how the next one will be... I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
