Sadie and Bo’s second chance story was a moving, emotional and wonderful adventure in Once Upon a Bad Boy by Melonie Johnson, book three in her Sometimes in Love series. I loved Sadie and Bo!! Bo had a wonderful and mostly supportive family. Meanwhile Sadie had only the warmth and love of her grandmother; never meeting the expectations of her “perfect” wealthy mother. Sadie Gold had finally been cast in a movie based upon her talent, not her pretty face or her wealth or family connections. She is definitely not prepared when a blast from the past is in charge of training for the movie stunts; her first real boyfriend, who took her heart when he left her. Bo Iberra is good looking, hard working, and irresistible; coming from a hard working family that struggled to make ends meet. He is also stubborn, especially when it comes to Sadie; fearing that he will never meet the needs he imagines Sadie has. Silly man!! All Sadie wanted a future together, and to be loved and accepted by Bo. Working together on this film might just be the chance for these two to prove to themselves they have the talent and ability to reach their goals as well as find their forever love ;if the tabloids, rumors and insecurities don’t destroy them first. Oh my goodness!! I totally and absolutely loved the manner in which Ms. Johnson wove a love of the classical literature with Monty Python lines; allowing for many laughs. This story is a wonderful and amazing tale that was emotional, humorous, and moving, filled with sexual chemistry, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters that is must read. I totally loved this story about Sadie and Bo having a second chance at finding true and forever love. I highly recommend Once Upon a Bad Boy to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Another unique and entertaining book by Melonie Johnson. Sadie is on the brink of finally seeing her dream of being a movie star come true when Fate throws her a curveball. She finds out that the movie stunt coordinator is Bo, her first and only true love. Now Sadie must not only deal with the pressure of proving herself a good and worthy movie actor, but she is also going to have to come to terms with her past relationship with Bo and a possible future with him. Bo, has never forgotten Sadie and has kept track of her in the 11 years that they have been apart. Although he broke up with her and said that he never wanted to see her again, Bo is surprised to learn that Sadie never once kept tabs on him. As they begin working closely together on the film, memories bombard them and they soon rekindle their romance, but for them to make a future together they will have to come to terms with their past. I encourage you to read and see if Bo and Sadie can find their HEA. It was fun reading this book and revisiting the girls from the first two books in this series. I am hoping that the other girls will get to have their stories told, also. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sadie Gold is an actress & has had small roles but has now landed the lead in a film. Finally, she can shake her reputation as a pretty face with more wealth and connections than talent. Then at a reading who should walk in but Bo Ibarra the stunt coordinator for the film & more importantly her first boyfriend who dumped her at the senior prom. Bo Ibarra knew Sadie, his honeybee, would be at the meeting after all he’s closely followed her since they split eleven years ago. Neither can deny that the attraction is there, but each of them suffered a broken heart so can they move forward? This is the third book in the series & the author’s third book, another very accomplished book that had me hooked from the start, strong characters who'll melt your heart. A lovely romance of second chances that flowed effortlessly. I adored Bo & when he showed Sadie a tattoo of a thistle with a bee I welled up. Sadie has fought to be recognised for her achievements but her confidence is shaky. They both have secrets which one in particular threatens to end their relationship, so the road to their HEA isn't smooth but it Makes for a lovely read & I definitely needed hankies for the last 10%. Three of the five friends have had their stories so i look forward to the remaining two books of this brilliant series My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
