Wild Love: A Romantic Comedy

Everly likes the single life. She only has sex when she travels so that no one in her small town will judge her for her choice to only have one-night stands. She has her reasons! Quinn is still getting over the dissolution of his marriage and isn't looking for a relationship. When Quinn's brother introduces him to Everly, it's instant chemistry. She's determined to limit their time to one night but he wants to explore the instant connection he found with her. Let the games begin! This is a sweet romance with some small-town antics, old ladies, an app (darn you JSE app!), repeat hookups, funny brothers, and unexpected consequences. Did I mention the wacky best friend? Yeah, there's one of those, too. I really enjoyed this story. Everly is smart and sassy but she's not obnoxious. Quinn is quiet and consistent but not boring. This is not a challenging story full of excitement and adventure. This is a love story between two adults who need some time to figure it all out. I think this book is related to something else the author has written because there are a couple of references that seemed kind of misplaced. It didn't take me out of the flow of the story but it made me wonder what I might have missed elsewhere. Also, Everly's reason for only having one-night stands was a touch weak, in my opinion. I was expecting something catastrophic but it was more like a series of small wounds that lead to her decision. Again, not a deal-breaker to enjoying the story. Now to the big issue I had with the story. Everly didn't recognize Quinn? Given her background and his, I don't see how that's possible. I really don't. That's all I'm going to say on the topic. This story made me smile which counts for something in my opinion. If you enjoy light, fun love stories then I would suggest giving this a try. Okay, this had to be one of most funnest, funniest, sexiest, and entertaining reads ever. I loved Quinn and Everly and his need to keep proving her wrong. The banter and back and forth was amazing and the inner dialogue even better. The ducks...seriously, I would re-read this again just for the ducks.

Everly has no place in her life for men accept for one night stands so when Quinn infiltrates her life, she is thrown for a loop. Quinn has a plan and for the moment he will let Everly be in control but when he shows up at her store and then finds out that he is her favorite author, the game changes. Will it lead them to a chance for happiness? This story will have you in their corner to get that chance to find out!
