What I was expecting was rough, no holds barred biker drama. What I got was a highly emotional, fully fledged romance with Tank Wicked front and centre, as he does his utmost to rescue Leah Yates and her family following a car accident. Leah and Tank are both suffering huge losses, and even though Leah has been wary of Tank in the past, she finally finds solace in his company. A truly wonderful, yet highly emotional MC romance, that brought a tear to my eye at times. I love the Wicked family and their group of friends, not the usual rough and ready outlaw bikers that’s for sure. Leah’s girls are so cute, and I loved their interactions with Tank, he’s definitely a natural with children. I loved how they supported each other through their grief. All they need to do now is forgive themselves and let go. Great story, highly enjoyable. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

One word describes the relationship between Tank and Leah. Intoxicating. Foster wraps the heart up in a courageous look at the human spirit. The Wicked Aftermath is hauntingly raw and powerfully inspiring. Loss and love go hand in hand. It's a hard road to forgiveness when the only one that blames you is yourself. From beginning to end Wicked Aftermath sticks to the heart with soulful accuracy that makes it hard to walk away until the last page is turned.

This is Tank Wicked and Leah Yate’s story and oh what a story it was. As I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster story, this was extremely well written. Tank lives by his MC creed, he is a volunteer firefighter who does his best to protect those in need and vulnerable, however some times even your best is not enough. I fell hard and fast for these characters, Tank is so swoon worthy that he just about melted my heart. The pain and emotion that Tank and Leah go through is heart breaking.
