About this ebook

The first in the fast-and-furious fantasy adventure The Legends of the Älfar: the worlds of the dark elves and the dwarves collide in what Malazan Empire calls 'Tolkien with a dash of Gemmell and a sprinkling of George R.R. Martin'.

The elves, dwarves and humans all know the älfar to be dark, relentless warriors. This is their time.

In Dson Faïmon, the realm of the älfar, the warriors are planning a military campaign. Caphalor and Sinthoras are looking to enlist a powerful demon to strengthen their army - but the two älfar have very different goals. While Caphalor is determined to defend the borders of their empire and no more, the ambitious Sinthoras is intent on invasion: and he has the kingdoms of dwarves, elves and men firmly in his sights.

Righteous Fury
is the first book in bestselling author Markus Heitz's The Legends of the Älfar series.

Don't think its the writing just that both the main characters need some dwarven rightous fury. Couldn't finish it. Just didnt care about the charcters and when I realized I was skipping ahead then lost my place gave up. Get this as a sample first if you loved the dwarf series.

Another cracker of a book great to get another look at the world of the previous Dwarves novels from the enemy perspective. Fundamental questions raised by this is do evil creatures pircive themselves to be evil? As i said good relaxation whilst streaching the old grey matter.

About the author

Markus Heitz trained to be a teacher after studying history and German literature, then going on to an MA in History. He spent several years as a journalist, writing in his free time, before the runaway success of The Dwarves allowed him to give up the day job. His debut epic fantasy novel, Schatten über Ulldart (Shadows over Ulldart) was the first of many of his books to win the Deutscher Phantastik Preis (Germany's premier literary award for fantasy) in 2003. Since then he has frequently topped the bestseller charts, and his Number One bestselling Dwarves and Aelfar series have earned him a place among Germany's most successful fantasy authors. The DOORS series, where each book follows the adventurers as they choose a different door, have earned him a whole new audience as he plays with fantasy, thriller and mystery tropes to keep the reader always interested. He currently lives in Saarland, in Germany.
