Erzählungen sind in der medizinischen und pflegerischen Versorgung allgegenwärtig: Patienten und Patientinnen, Angehörige, Ärzte und Ärztinnen, Pflegekräfte, Seelsorger und Seelsorgerinnen erzählen oft je unterschiedliche Geschichten und drücken darin auch moralische Bewertungen aus. In der theologischen Diskussion hat die Frage nach der Rolle von Erzählungen für das ethische Urteilen besondere Aufmerksamkeit erfahren, weil die Praxis christlichen Glaubens in besonderer Weise aus Erzählungen lebt. Der vorliegende Band geht der Frage nach der Bedeutung von Erzählungen für ethische Urteilsbildung in Medizin und Pflege nach und veranschaulicht, was theologische Reflexion zu den aktuellen medizin- und pflegeethischen Diskussionen beitragen kann. Im Zentrum des Bandes steht dabei die theologische Diskussion über ethische Fragen in Medizin und Pflege, die aber bereichert wird durch Beiträge aus der Literaturwissenschaft, der Philosophie, der Pflegewissenschaft und der Medizin- und Pflegeethik. The present volume examines the question of the significance of narratives for the ethical judgement in medicine and care and illustrates what theological reflection can contribute to the current discussion about the ethics of medicine and care. The focus of the volume is on the theological discussion on the ethical issues of medicine and care which is enriched by contributions from literary studies, philosophy, nursing science and the ethics of medicine and care.
About the author
Prof. Dr. Marco Hofheinz, geb. 1973, Studium der ev. Theologie in Wuppertal, Bonn, Tübingen, Lexington, Durham (Duke University) und Göttingen. 2007 Promotion; 2010 Habilitation (beides in Bern), seit 2012 Professor für Systematische Theologie (Schwerpunkt Ethik) an der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Verfolgt zahlreiche Projekte zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten: Friedensethik und biomedizinische Ethik, theologische Religionskritik, Geschichte und Theologie des reformierten Protestantismus.
