The story of Mujey Dumbuya.
In the woods, she resembled a pile of garments. At first, the couple in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who went out for a brisk Sunday stroll had no idea what they were witnessing. There was a ton of trash and rubbish in those forests. She soon came into focus: a young woman with braids in her hair, one leg bent to the left. She didn't respond when the guy called to her. He rang 911. He expressed to the operator that he didn't feel secure there.
The girl was Mujey Dumbuya, she was raped and murdered, a sophomore in high school who was 16 years old. Mujey grinned widely. She performed a dance. She never stopped praising people. She sent texts that were quite lengthy. She adored hair and cosmetics and particularly shoes, but she preferred to spell her name with the American pronunciation, "Mujay," much to the chagrin of her Liberian family, who called it "Mujey." She was neat and orderly, especially for a teenager. She also claimed to police that Quinn Anthony James, a 42-year-old facilities staffer at her high school, sexually assaulted her in the summer of 2017.
But two months later after she reported that to the police she was dead.
