About this eBook

Inspired by the lawless love story of Bonnie and Clyde, Jenna Voris’s heart-stopping tale of passion and crime will have you seeing stars.

"A thrill ride of the highest caliber. Made of Stars is an explosion of space warfare with beautifully violent criminals you’ll love to accompany." —Chloe Gong, #1 New York Times bestselling author of These Violent Delights

Shane and Ava are a team. He steals the aircraft, she charms their mark, and together they take what they need. Not even their distracting chemistry could get in the way. Until Shane was caught and left to rot on a prison moon. Now, freshly escaped from confinement and simmering with anger, he has his sights set on their biggest job yet.

Cyrus just graduated from the flight academy with a shiny new position lined up reporting to a well-respected general. On his very first assignment, he stops the outlaws in their tracks—or he would have, if his annoyingly handsome copilot, Lark, hadn’t fallen for Ava’s deception.

But when Shane uncovers a top-secret plot that would leave his and Ava’s home world at the mercy of Cyrus’s military leaders, he makes it his mission to thwart them at all costs. It isn’t long before the two of them make interstellar headlines with each new heist. And thanks to a chance run-in with the rebels, Cyrus is caught between two versions of the truth. He must pick a side—and fast. Because Shane and Ava will bring the planet to its knees . . . or die trying.

I don't think I've ever heard the story of Bonnie and Clyde told like this. It really drew inspiration from them, and twisted their love story into something completely different. I liked how they were fighting for something good, something right. They weren't completely lawless, but had to do what they did to help those they loved. It gave a reason behind everything, and really brought the whole story together into something bigger than just a tragic love story.

This captivated me from the start. The setting alone is so well done that it felt real--from the cold planet surface to the insides of the space crafts. The characters are flawed and make decisions that lead to committing crimes, yet their motivations make them people I believed in and could make a difference in their world by ultimately helping others. The danger and suspense of the action kept me reading and not wanting to put this novel down. The plot brings together characters who start out

I kind of figure the because the book blurb kept touting that it was the story of BOnnie and Clyde, but in space, that Ava and Shane probably would not have a happy ending. But it was still hard not to root for their success against the Opians who were trying to destroy their homeworld due to greed and for all their crimes, it was such a small dent in the grand plans of General Noth. I think it Ava and Shane were a bit better than Bonnie and Clyde, more of a rightous cause to fight for.
