MILLENNIUM LAMENT is an accretion of humorous dark verse and short prose, spanning the end of the last and beginning of the current millennium. There are illustrations to minimize the number of hard words and because poetry can be opaque. The book deals with difficult topics like aging, addiction, religion and love. It is not intended to show preference for any one millennium. Lulubel Ahluwalia opined that Millennium Lament was Rupi Kaur, for your father.
The author is a Canadian medical doctor. His other work includes the noir thriller, A Cause and Manner.

Peter Tinits is a Canadian medical doctor who has worked as an emergency physician, anesthesiologist and coroner. He lives with his wife in Stratford, Ontario.
