Jonas reluctantly agrees, and David is off to Dubai for the summer of his life, not realizing that he is being set up to lead an expedition that will hunt down and capture the most dangerous creatures ever to inhabit the Earth.

Steve Alten grew up in Philadelphia and now lives in Florida. He has written six novels in the MEG series, the first of which was sold in over 20 countries and became the book of the 1996 Frankfurt Book Fair.
