Lynn Johnston is one of the most prolific and influential Canadian cartoonists of our time. Amongst the cartoonist gods like Schultz and Jim Davis. Nothing can EVER compare to her parallels of her own family life, its generational Highs and lows. After 40ish years, she stands high as an example of Canadian art and family togetherness within and without the narrative of this enduring masterpiece of cartooning. It will forever make us Laugh, gush, cry and remember. Thank you Lynn!

DIVLynn Johnston was born in Collingwood, Ontario, and grew up in British Columbia. Today, she lives in Corbeil, Ontario. Johnston is the first woman to receive a Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year from the National Cartoonists Society in 1986. She has also received the Order of Canada and claims a star on Canada's Walk of Fame./div
