Om denne e-bog

How does a famous cowboy make a transition from rodeo hero to rancher?

How does a man learn to live with the fact that he's been sentenced to one sort of life when his body and soul still wants the rodeo life?

Sara Wingate has just graduated as a vet and landed a job in the small town of Plains, Montana, where her family live. She's come home at last, and she's beyond happy with her new busy life.

Mitch Carter has given up his rodeo life and also come home to be his father's right-hand man on the Carter Ranch, but his heart's still back at the rodeo.

Mitch and Sara meet in a pen full of pigs, not the most romantic of meetings. But Mitch soon knows she's the one for him. Problem is, can he compete with the demands of her career?

Sara loves the rodeo cowboy--but will he be content away from the Broncos and bulls?

IF YOU LOVE RODEO AND WESTERN ROMANCE ,this is the book for you!

AUTHOR INTERVIEW: What inspired you to write about rodeo and cowboys?

My family has cowboys, rodeo riders, and one famous female trick rider, my beautiful niece Emily. I'm an anomaly; I'm scared of horses. But I love to listen, and at family gatherings there's always a rodeo story. And I have a good friend who's a vet. It didn't take much to put the two elements together.

Who's your favourite character?

Mitch's mother, Ruth. She's lived through tragedy with little support from her husband, but she finds the courage to follow a new path, one that will bring her self-esteem and happiness.

Om forfatteren

Bobby Hutchinson lives for, breathes in, reads and writes books. She lives in a little coal mining town in the Canadian Rockies which she’s writing about in a new series of short reads called “Starwood Chronicles.”

She's scared of horses, but her extended family are all cowboys. And cowgirls.

She doesn’t do phone sex for money (ARE YOU LONESOME TONIGHT) and she’s not running a dating service, (MAKE ME A MATCH.) She’s not a private detective, and she doesn’t own a beagle with stomach problems, (STAND BY YOUR MAN) She also doesn’t time travel, (YESTERDAY’S GOLD) although she’s ready should the opportunity arrive. And she doesn't do Rodeos either.

But some of her wonderful, gregarious female friends have done all of the above, (except the time travel bit), and she’s used their hands-on research for her books. One niece (Emily Peebles) is a championship trick rider.

She has directed traffic around construction sites, owned a boutique full of clothes she designed, and run several popular B&B’s. She writes of her madcap experience in HOW NOT TO RUN A B&B. She loves to cook, listen to guests’ life stories and also shamelessly eavesdrop on private conversations at Starbucks.

She's currently working on three or four or eight more books. She has six enchanting grandchildren. She now lives alone, meditates, bikes, walks, reads incessantly, and writes compulsively.

She likes a quote by Wayne Dyer: When you change the way you look at a thing, the thing you look at changes.
