Lora S. Irish is an internationally known artist and author, whose acclaimed books include Great Book of Carving Patterns, Great Book of Celtic Patterns, Great Book of Dragon Patterns, Great Book of Tattoo Designs, The Official Vampire Artist's Handbook, Relief Carving Wood Spirits, World Wildlife Patterns for the Scroll Saw, and many more. Fox Chapel Publishing has sold more than 500,000 copies of Irish's books. Lora is also a frequent contributor to Woodcarving Illustrated and to Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazines.

John A. Nelson is considered a master craftsman by scroll saw enthusiasts and is a frequent contributor to Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine. He is the author of 10 books about scroll sawing, including The Complete Guide to Making Wooden Clocks, 50 Easy Weekend Scroll Saw Projects, Making Wooden Baskets on Your Scroll Saw, and Inspirational Scroll Saw Projects. Gary Browning has used his scroll saw portrait techniques to preserve many treasured family photographs. He also enjoys scrolling portraits of pets, wild animals and celebrities. His techniques and projects have been featured in Scroll Saw Workshop magazine.

Neal Moore, a retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer, is one of those who are considered the absolute-best at what they do for the Navy, having risen through the ranks of the enlisted to eventually receive a Presidential appointment. Retired since 1983, Neal Moore has shifted his interest in exacting technical operations to a different venue, the scroll saw. After purchasing his first scroll saw in 2003, Neal soon developed his own patterns, and perfected a wood-crafting technique called "segmented portraiture". His work has been featured on the cover of Scroll Saw Workshop magazine and he is a moderator for Scroll Saw Workshop's message board Neal Moore lives in Cottageville, West Virginia.

Kathy Wise has been sculpting dogs and animals professionally for more than 25 years. Much of her time is now spent in the woodshop and art studio working on new and exciting designs for intarsia artists to cut and enjoy. Charles Dearing currently resides in Round Rock, Texas. His artistic talents became evident at an early age, but he didn't discover the joys of scrolling until later in life. For Charles, scrolling became an addiction. He started creating his own designs when he couldn't find commercial patterns to meet his needs.
