About this ebook

 A home-grown killer blows a small town's secrets wide

open...

Judge Madelyn Cooper never shows signs of weakness, but when a killer threatens her daughter's life, Maddie does what any mother would do.

She runs to the one place where her daughter will be safe.

That place is her home town of Greendale, Texas, where everyone knows their neighbors. But do they, really?

Rand McCade is determined to keep Greendale safe. As
Sheriff, he promised there would be no repeats of the horrible day when his parents were murdered. Now Maddie is back, bringing trouble with her once again. And this time, she has a daughter. His daughter.

As a psychopath sets his sights on Maddie, Rand and Maddie must figure out who is after her, and why, before someone else ends up dead.

Praise for Lone Star Justice:

"This was a perfect blend of suspense and romance for me. The book has a lot of dynamics and I wasn't able to figure out who she was threatened by until close to the end. I enjoyed the beginning, ending and everything in between."--Sue Sells Stuff

Move over Baldacci and Patterson!! Tori Scott is on the way!! Just when you think you can relax and get to know the people in the story something else happens. unexpected exciting. Coulden't put the book down. The cover of the book suggests a western. It is not. It is a thriller. I can't wait to read her next one --Mr. Art

I had just read another of her books, and when I saw this, had to try it too. This woman is a fantastic author! She makes the storyline so suspenseful, and romantic, who could not like it? Another thing... she talks about towns right here where I live, and that's fun, too. I'd give her 10 stars if I could... loved the book. --L. Hass

This is my first time to read this author and I was very impressed. The plot was not predictable and I was engaged throughout the entire book trying to figure out the dynamics of each character. Good job! I will definitely be reading more of your books. --A. Dixon

LONE STAR JUSTICE is the first Tori Scott novel that I read, she has captured my interest! I LOVED this book and could not put it down, I read it from start to finish in about 3 1/2 hours. When Maddie Cooper left town as a teenager, she devastated Rand McCade; now she's back with the daughter that Rand doesn't know is his and Maddie is trying to hide her daughter and herself from a psychotic killer. Maddie hopes that Rand as sheriff and the close knit community of Greendale, Texas can help keep 13 year old Brandy safe. What she doesn't count on is the strong attraction that she still feels for Rand and he still feels for her, Maddie struggles to keep her distance from Rand not sure if she really wants to tell him the truth about Brandy, but knowing she has to eventually. All the while the killer is biding his time and getting closer.
