About the author
Linda Leaming, geboren in Nashville, Tennessee, bereiste 1994 das erste Mal Bhutan. 1997 zog sie dorthin, um Schüler zu unterrichten. Inzwischen lebt sie seit über zehn Jahren etwas außerhalb von Thimpu, der Hauptstadt Bhutans. Sie ist Schriftstellerin und hält Vorträge über das Land des Donnerdrachens. Ihr Mann stammt aus Bhutan und ist ein bekannter Thangka-Künstler.
