This is around a 3.5 rating for me. Unlike others who have reviewed this book, I actually read Too Close first, so for me, I was team David all the way. After reading Too Close, which is the prequel that explains how close David and Katrina really are, I was a bit sad to see Katrina falling for Elliot. But even without having read that, I still felt there was something off about Elliot. I don't know, just something about the way he behaved with Katrina, hot one minute and cold the next. I enjoyed the story, but the editing made it a struggle to get through in some instances, especially around dialogue, which is one of my pet peeves.
