About this ebook

The last thing I need is another person to protect. But for her, I might make an exception…

Hiring the sunny marketer, the one with boundless enthusiasm, wasn’t my idea.

My dad insisted on hiring Charlotte. Her mission? To market our fledgling Christmas tree farm. My mission?

Figure out why she’s triggering all my cop instincts.

Something is telling me to keep a close eye on her—especially when she takes up temporary residence on the farm. And I’m sure it has nothing to do with how she looks in an elf costume.

Well, I’m pretty sure, anyway.

The point is, I have too many responsibilities to even think about romance, no matter how much she’s making me wish I could.

But protecting people is what I do. So, when whatever—or whoever—she’s running from catches up to her, I know I can keep her safe.

What remains to be seen is if I’ll be able to protect myself (and my heart) when it’s time to let her go…

Fire In My Heart is a spicy, grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers, small town holiday contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone. Download today for all the sexy romantic escapism you could ever need.

It's the book I've been waiting for since we first met grouchy oldest brother Teddy. Teddy is a master of control, of all things, all things in his life that is. When his dad hired Charlotte to help market the tree farm well Teddy not only lost a bit of control he started to feel like he was losing a bit of himself. Charlotte comes from a home with an alcoholic father and enabler mother, she's also hiding from an abusive ex. The thing about her though is that she really just wants to make people happy. She forgets to make sure the people she's with are also making her happy. These two start out Teddy thinks as enemies, Charlotte thinks as boss and employee both think a relationship would be forbidden. But neither of them can seem to stay away from the other, and both discover fairly quickly whether they admit it or not they're a good team. I have voluntarily left this review.

Fire In My Heart was a wonderful addition to The Calloways, the latest series from Lea Coll. Ms. Coll’s writing style is one that I can easily relate too she is one of my go to authors for the small-town genre. This is Teddy and Charlotte’s story and it drew me in and held me captive from the first paragraph to the last. You could feel the tension as the story developed. Charlotte brings light into grumpy Teddy’s life and I thoroughly enjoyed watching their relationship develop.

Teddy Calloway story is finally here and it was so worth the wait! He's known as the grumpy oldest big brother of the family, always against trying new things that will affect the family and when Charolette Monroe enters their life, it causes unexpected havoc that he didn’t expect. What happens next was an enjoyable sunshine/grumpy romance that didn’t disappoint. It was fun watching their chemistry blossom to their many banter that ends with a HEA.
