I love the creativity of this series, the in-depth description of Egyptian culture in the modern era. It has the sweetest slow burn romance between Ani and Nik, a jackal familiar Matia and a mixed bag of situations some funny some serious. It is very well written, and I can't wait to continue reading this series! I highly recommend it!!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

She is one who does not forget the feelings of the living. I love these stories so much. Court of the Queen (11) Ani and her ability to make higher ups like her or dislike her. Procession Of The King It feels like the political intrigues are swirling faster and deeper around Ani than ever before. While all that’s going on around her, it's not changing the sweet, loyal person she is in her heart. The steadfast dedication of Nik and Matia to her are proof of that.
