If you love the holiday season and second chance at love pick up The Cabin at Candy Lane and head to the magical town of Blizzard Bluff. This is Holly and Lucas’s second chance at love and they really have a magical, romantic tale to tell. Holly is heading home to Blizzard Bluff after losing her job and being left at the alter right before the holiday season, she is hoping to lock herself away in a mountain cabin and put the past behind her.

The Cabin at Candy Cane Lane is a quick read, but it's not without the feels. I don't want to give too much away, especially since it's such a quick read, so suffice it to say that both Holly and Lucas have things to work through. They've both suffered a loss - different kinds but still a loss - and they're really at different places in the journey of moving on. That doesn't mean they can't find comfort in each other. The romance is blissfully low angst.

This was a quick enjoyable read. This is a beautiful second chance romance. Things happen for a reason even though we have to walk the darkest days it may lead to our brightest. Being snowed in with your ex in a cabin during a snowstorm was last thing Holly expected with her return to Blizzard Bluff. It leads to something so unexpected.
