She has written more than seventy books and translated about fifty titles including works by Shel Silverstein, Margarita Engle, and Juan Felipe Herrera. She has also translated more than ten Dr. Seuss’s books, including the well-known The Cat in the Hat.
Some of her translations have been praised by Kirkus Reviews, Texas Star Reading, and Junior Library Guild.
