If you want to really know how it was like to walk point or to be in an air assault platoon during Vietnam then read this book. Mr. Jorgenson tells it like it was in combat, the loss of friends and the camaraderie that you expect to find in elite units along with the sometimes macabre sense of humor one might expect from seeing death on a daily basis.

The true honor, sense of duty and tenaciousness of our beloved America. Thanks to men and woman of this character. Some may never know of the course of time and tide, they changed.

A frank account of one man's life in what must have been a living he'll in Vietnam. Well written, it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat the whole way through.

Kregg P. Jorgenson served in Vietnam with Company H, Rangers, and later with Apache Troop, the 1st Squadron of the 9th Cavalry. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and City University of Seattle. He lives in the Pacific Northwest.
