I've read a lot of books written by Wendy Meadows; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the second book in the Tinsel Pine Cozy Mystery Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Carol & Brogan working together to solve the murder of his ex-wife. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

A confusing mess! This book had an interesting premise. Unfortunately I got so bogged up trying to figure out what was going on I didn't have time to enjoy the book. Supposedly, this is book two of Tinsel Pine mysteries. Yet during the book they discuss two murders they have solved together. Throw in some bits and pieces of the two murders and it becomes a convoluted mess. A waste of my time to read although I must admit I did not see the murderer coming!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
