This Fairytale takes us back to our childhood days and reminds me of the Alice in Wonderland tale. 1. Title is appropriate as per the storyline and the characters are well groomed. 2. Pictures are vivid and creative illustrations are used throughout the book. 3. Language is easy & straight to the point and thought process is beautiful and lucrative. 4. The main Protagonist is Primrose who is a lively and well mannered girl living along with her parents. 5. She is a hard working, strong and brave girl in the worst of all times wherein the support of the family is needed the most. 6. She coincidentally met the Woodland friend's which amazed her initially the way they are interacting with her. 7. It took a while to made her believe that she is on a mission to fight the evil queen but she eventually agreed to take this mission. 8. The story is pretty straightforward as they went to seek the queen's assistance who readily agreed and sent her most loyal soldiers on her journey.

Primrose, a 12 year old audacious girl lives with her father and brother in the woods. To make both ends meet, they work hard by crocheting and collecting woods. She goes deep into the forest in search of a healing potion for her ailing father. She meets some strange talking woodland animals there. They make her realise the purpose of her life is to defeat the evil queen Evelyn and save the humanity. And thus, the expedition begins toward Hellevue place where the queen reigns. This beautiful fairy tale has been authored by a twelve year old, and based on that I must say she has a vivid level of imagination. Primerose, the hero of the stroy is perfectly portrayed. She has been shown happy, courageous and hopeful. The rest of woodland animals played an interesting part of the tale. Characters and incidents are built with extreme details. Narration is rapid. The language could have been made a little simple considering the reader's age group.

Primrose's Curse By Kiara Shankar & Vinay Shankara. 📚My Take: I must say, children's book are very magical. No genre is actually required. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Firstly, it's penned by father-daughter duo so it's definitely so special. The book tells us a story of an amazing girl: Primerose & I have loved her till the end. She is so beautiful, so talented & so hardworking. Also, a beautiful family bond is presented in the book. The amazing adventure she takes with the woodland animals leads her to new destinations & many more adventures & obstacles one by one. Loved it
