Two people who grew in strength through their love...I wanted it to happen and more. So will everyone who reads their story, and not want to it to end.

This is truly a well written and thought out book. I was surprised by the quality of this story! It is not your stereotypical BWWM romance, where the girl is dumb, uninspiring, weak and looking for a chauvanistic male to save her. No! The romance here is so realistic and the dialogue is very well written. Verna and her struggle to love herself and follow her dreams is so touching. Joe is a Navy Seal struggling with the idea of getting 'old' and no longer going on missions. I highly recommend this!

Verna was unrealistically complacent. Treated as she was by Joe. Even the most forgiving woman would not have been so accommodating.
