This book is fantastic!!! Forrestry Service LEO, Maya, is happily living with her boyfriend Josh and enjoying her job and K9 partner, when her foundation seems to crumble. She learns that Josh has been keeping secrets at the same time they learn a serial killer is in the area. Maya takes on the investigation, but is repeatedly thwarted, leaving her K9 as the only one she can trust. Before long, she's in the fight of her life. I love the characters in this series.
