It was a good quick read. I liked the story line. I am not sure how much to type so I don't give the whole story away. We first see Cailin Thorburn in his Scottish home land. Then we see Skye Bancroft whom is doing a photo shoot with a model Roderick Thornburn in a kilt and a highlander theme. When After an accident he suddenly switched places with Cailin. The story goes on from there. The ending was different but I liked it. Time traveling romance are usually not my thing because I question the what happens with family and friends etc, but this time it didn't bother me. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. Light-hearted escapism, this fun romance confuses everyone. When Cailin finds himself transported from the battlegrounds of the Highlands to a photographic studio 200 years later, he is more than disturbed. Skye cannot work out whether the male model Roderick is being his usual obnoxious self, or whether there is truly some other force at play. As it becomes plain that the two men who are distant relatives have in fact swapped places, Skye has her hands full coping with the situation, keeping Cailin's secret whilst at the same time educating him on the changes that have taken place in society. The only person to really suffer is Roderick, and one cannot help but feel sorry for him. The story is romantic with a certain amount of humour, whilst not really delving into past history. There is an easy flow of language, which makes reading a pleasure and although I am not a particular fan of time travel romances, this one is fun. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery.
