This was a really great way to round out the trilogy. After spending the previous books getting to know Andrew as the “bad guy” it was very interesting to learn about the real villain behind it all. I also particularly liked that we get to discover more about the causes of the enmity between the Sterling brothers. I’m still not completely sold on why they all worked so hard to maintain the legacy of the “dearly departed”, or why they put so much effort into reforming his reputation, but I can see how it could be important to his unvorn child. The more we learned about Jonathan, the more I was glad these people could live their lives without him. Miranda and Andrew probably suffered the most under his casual cruelty, so I very much enjoyed seeing them get another chance at happiness with one another. This Andrew and Miranda's story and if you've read the previous books you would know it's the last wife of the late Jonathan. Even though it stands alone, you will get so much more from it if you start from the beginning. This is a little forbidden but a lot tantalizing and sexy. I couldn't put it down.

Actually it has been a really long time since I read a new Harlequin book because the new authors I had read previously didn't really connect with me. I actually tried this book only because I was able to find an ARC of this book. I must say, the book is a pleasant surprise. The story-line and premise of the story is usually not something which I am comfortable reading. In spite of that, the book had made an impression on me, from the 1st chapter itself. The story is well paced with the development of the characters almost believable. The author has managed to make the story very interesting and get the readers invested in it's characters, in spite of the unusual premise. The only fault I could find with the book is that the story could have had a bit more depth. Overall, this book is an enjoyable read filled with lovely emotions and I recommend it to anyone looking for a lighthearted romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
