SCARLET LADY: Mills & Boon Comics

Not quite so sure I got this dude right. He cares a lot about his reputation because “family” but lets his wife be dragged by tabloids??? Instead of asking for a divorce he bangs his wife, insults her for being into it, then immediately takes another woman to bed in front of her so he’ll get the divorce he wants??? Never apologizes for it either, just says he asked the other woman to pretend and they didn’t have intimacies. (Truly mature and adult man who you would want to raise children with.) The actual story is kinda boring. She’s looking for her bio-father and her ex shows up for reasons. The parts that are supposed to be them bonding really drag. Not all that romantic cause he still thinks she’s a tramp. I guess the bio-dad is rich but also a rival family or something. It was really convoluted. In the end she brings up valid reasons as to why they shouldn’t get back together but then a plot snake happens.
