About this ebook

Sweet momma, do you have something to spill when your cup gets bumped? Are you running on empty? It’s time to fill up. In Have Something to Spill, author Kara E. Edwards offers forty solid, yet short, devotions through 1st and 2nd Peter. They are designed with Biblical teaching to help you think through scripture verse by verse in only ten minutes a day. All meat and no fluff, there’s no more guilt for trying to juggle kids and finish your weekly Bible/book study homework only to come up short. You can still grow in your wisdom and understanding of scripture even during this crazy season of life. Edwards helps you engage with the text, make connections, pray through it, and apply the gospel to your life. Edwards also includes easy recipes, fun and creative play ideas, as well as inspiration and survival tips she’s learned throughout her journey. When your cup is full of truth and when life (or kids) knocks it over, God’s mercy and love will flow out. Care for your entire being—spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical- with this devotional. Treat yourself to the gift of God’s word and watch as your whole family reaps the rewards of your faithfulness. What a desperately needed dose of fresh and encouraging air! Moms of little ones have the exact opposite of “little to do” and these short yet deeply God-inspired devotions are a perfect tool to help keep mommies tightly knitted to their spiritual Father and growing as Disciples of Christ. To every mother who reads this book, may His favor be upon you for a thousand generations and your family and your children and their children, and their children. May he guide you and lead you as you raise your children up to be next generation leaders in godly Christian homes. -Joe White, CEO Kanakuk Ministries
