Awaken

Life is good for Mark. He’s got everything he could possibly wish for including his best friend Harry, his boyfriend Damien and the exhilaration of training to become a witch. When an evil entity reappears to demand support from Mark, can he possibly refuse? Is he able to protect everyone he loves with his limited magical abilities or will his desperation have him seeking aid from the one source he shouldn’t? I enjoyed Mark and Damien’s sweet, budding relationship – drama and teenaged angst and all. The story is well written and very entertaining with interesting and likeable characters, some humour, magic, action and danger. I’m curious to see how the fallout from this installment impacts everyone’s lives moving forward. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
