Overcoming the loss of our loved ones makes us mad in so many ways. In the book ' Faith and the Beloved'characters connected with one word "LOSS". Even though the grief is not expressed widely in words, every character suffers huge losses. How they react to the pain of that loss drives the story. The book is made up of love, revenge, betrayal, underworld actions, gang fights, sexual violence, family, race and more dark realities. Every character is linked with one sentence "live to fight another day", the last words of Tony's father. In the story we can see the characters live to fight yet another day to try to survive till the end. Unfortunately some people succeed but some reach the destiny.chain of information, perfectly connected and well sequenced shows the author's delicate style. After huge fights, roars and wars story ends with two powerful characters who survived this darkness. Burdened heart, drenched in silence, holding her mother's hand gives an emotional ending to the story

'Faith and the beloved' brings together the lives of Prem Rollands, Tony D'Souza, Naithy Cherokil and Alice Cherokil. The story starts with Alice killing her stepfather and fleeing the city. Prem, along with his brother, has a rough childhood and he ends up losing his brother. Alice, who runs from home, and Prem, who runs from police are both clever and put everyone on a goose chase. The way the story comes together is so interesting. The book deals with family, love, lust, revenge, religion, betrayal, patriotism and terrorism. The way the author has woven all these together is beautiful. The book enables the reader to visit many places, Kerala most of all. The description makes me feel that I have lived there all my life, and I yearn to visit those places. There are many characters and I found it difficult to keep up with them. There are a few spelling mistakes that could have been avoided with another round of editing. This book is recommended to all drama and adventure lovers.

🌟Recently finished reading the book FAITH AND THE BELOVED written by author KOCHERY C SHIBU and one thing I can say that what a great story it has. The book has elements of love, lust, family, betrayal and a cold-blooded saga of revenge. This is a book that will take up on you slowly and when it does you won’t be able to get out of it. It can be classified as dark crime thriller that has been set in India.🌟 💫Writing- ✨The author has narrated the book in third person and the book is divided into different chapters depicting the storyline of each character from their POV. The language very easy to understand which makes it a good read. The title and the cover has been good. Author has done hardwork in researching the details as it was pin pointed in the book. The description has been good and you will not feel any confusion at any point while reading it. The book flows through rapid pace and the mystery and suspense will keep you hooked till the end of the story. ✨✨✨✨
