About the author
Judith Eckert ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Soziale Arbeit und Sozialpolitik der Universität Duisburg-Essen. Die Soziologin promovierte an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg und war Gastwissenschaftlerin an der University of Georgia, Athens, und an der University of California, Berkeley.
