I absolutely loved the start of this series. We’re introduced to some wonderful characters that we’ll want to know more about. This book is centered around Kinga and Griff. Kinga’s grandfather, Callum, wants Griff to headline the Ryder International Ball this year. Kinga thinks that’s a bad idea. When they meet, Griff is late, so things don’t start out good. They can’t deny the chemistry they have though. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say you’ll be ready for book two as soon as you finish this book. I look forward to reading the future books in this series to learn more about these wonderful characters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Four and a half stars Secrets of a Bad Reputation by Joss Wood is the first in the Dynasties: DNA Dilemma series from Harlequin Desire. Kinga Ryder-White is tasked with organizing the Ryder International Ball, an even grander event this year, under the watchful eye of her demanding grandfather, the notoriously eccentric Callum Ryder-White. He’s decided that bad-boy performer Griff O’Hare is the perfect headliner for their celebration. Joss Wood’s storytelling is page-turning, and her characters are warm and lovely, coming to reveal their softer selves to each other…. A terrific read and start to this series!

What a great start to this new “Dynasties DNA Dilemma Series”. There are family secrets from all. Joss Wood has done an awesome job with her characters and the plot is filled with secrets, mystery, suspenseful, romance, steamy scenes, page turner and the main characters Kinga and Griff have awesome chemistry. Callum Ryder-White is matriarch of the family business and whatever he says goes. Kinga is the granddaughter of Callum and she is in charge of PR and it is time for the annual ball and her grandfather Callum wants bad boy Griff was child star and is now a singer in a band. Griff has taken a back step in his performances and stands out as the bad boy; because he is protecting his twin sister Sian who was also a child star. Kinga’s best friend Jas who was like a sister to killed in a hit and run accident and Kinga is still dealing with the fallout from and Mitch Jas on again off again boyfriend continues to blame Kinga annually on the anniversary of Jas’s death. I am so loving romances with mystery and mayhem taking center stage. You will definitely not want to miss this 1st book in the series. You will most definitely enjoy the start of this series. I received an ARC via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
