About this ebook

Combined for the first time in one volume are the first three books of the internationally bestselling FROSTBORN saga - FROSTBORN: THE GRAY KNIGHT, FROSTBORN: THE EIGHTFOLD KNIFE, FROSTBORN: THE UNDYING WIZARD, and the prequel novel FROSTBORN: THE FIRST QUEST.

RIDMARK ARBAN was once a Swordbearer, a knight of renown. Now he is a branded outcast, stripped of his sword, and despised as a traitor.

But he alone sees the danger to come, and undertakes the dangerous quest to stop the return of the Frostborn.

I'm a huge fan of long epics such as The Wheel of Time series, Game of Thrones, and other masterworks like those. While this collection does not stand on the same great works as those, it does capture your curiosity just as well. Another so so work of literature that blends in with all the others, but after reading through the first book, then continuing through the second, then finishing the third and fourth without putting it down you really become unexpectedly enjoying it's simplicity.

Basic premise of story is mildly interesting if incredibly basic unfortunately no editing at all with constant errors and characters that are all boiled down to the worst aspects of the basics. the amount of helplessness the puts on the main female character is nothing short of disgusting and it seems obvious any ability given to her is given grudgingly in response to review backlash (an editor may have pointed this out) the more you read the more you realize everything is just a constantly repeating loop for the action, dialogue and internal monologue of the main character. perhaps 20% of any given book is actually something that's supposed to be (but isn't) new and the rest is just rehashing the same plot point or description over and over again. at a 1$ it was almost acceptable but I couldn't imagine paying even 5$ a pop for the story it honestly seems laughable to think anyone would

Terrible. This is the second series this bibliophile has decided to quit in over 30 years of avid reading. I am assuming this is self-published by a person with no formal writing education. He jumps from past to present tense multiple times in a single sentence. Typos everywhere. The characters have ZERO depth and the back stories are so cliched it is laughable. The writing is just not good. People don't constantly "shiver", no one has ever "looked hungry". For me the most disgusting part was when a naked abused woman is noticed by the...ahem..."hero" and he thinks she would be attractive if only she weren't trussed like a pig. What kind of man thinks like that? Is this character supposed to be a "good Christian"? Do you want people to *like* this guy? I stuck around for 500 pages of this. I never leave negative reviews but seriously don't waste your time. I've read more original, interesting works from 10 year olds, and most children are not this sexist.
