Lou Clark has a lot of questions.

Like how she's ended up working in an airport bar.

Why the flat she's owned for a year still doesn't feel like home.

Whether her family can forgive her for what she did eighteen months ago.

What Lou does know is that something has to change . . .

Then, one night, it does.

But does the stranger on her doorstep hold the answers Lou is searching for - or just more questions?

Close the door and life continues: simple, ordered, safe.

Open it and she risks everything.

But Lou once made a promise to live. And if she's going to keep it, she has to invite them in . . .

I absolutely loved me before you. With the sequel after you. I felt it was a dragged out read. At some stages I became somewhat frustrated with the character Louisa. I was hooked on me before you.. That much i had it read in three days. Unfortunately I didn't get that with this book but it may have been that my expectation was too high. Looking forward to seeing the film Me Before You which is due out next year. Tissues at the ready

I'm not even half way through this book and finding it hard to concentrate on the storyline. It just seems to be lacking something.... I will try to finish in a few days and hopefully I can give a better review. Unfortunately so far the book does not come close as good a read as Me Before You.

I don't recommend you read this directly after "Before you" because the effect of the first book might not allow you to really engage in the process of moving on in this one... but still, nice story, well written, easy to read and well, get ready for some emotional ups and downs :)
