About this ebook

A Lord of the Rings for the 21st century. Only a lot shorter. And funnier. And completely different.

The complete Shadowmagic trilogy. Including Shadowmagic, Prince of Hazel and Oak and Sons of Macha.

Shadowmagic is a fantasy adventure for young adults (although grown ups will like it too). Written by one of the most popular magicians in the country it brings a fresh approach to the genre and will have a broad appeal beyond the fantasy sections.

I love the humor , the description of everything makes for easy reading like you're watching a movie in your head. As for the read aloud feat. If you just visit the books website. Or Google ShadowMagic you can listen to all the books for free. Podiobooks, Libravox has book 1&2 & Jonh is putting up new chapters, on the books website for book 3. Right now he has the first 16 ready to listen to. As always buy the books for your shelf, but the audios come in handy on busy days.

The last book series I bought and actually read was almost 15 years ago. It takes quite a bit to enthrall me like that. The audiobooks of this series got me hooked and I purchased the first print book to get my son hooked. In the end, I had to know what happened, so I bought the trilogy. Truth be told, I'll still tune in for the final audiobook chapters. Sorry though, no spoilers from me. Just know that every character has a purpose in the story and I can't name one that didn't leave a lasting impression on me. Funny, charming, endearing, hopeful, optimistic, brave, loving and of course sad. All adjectives and emotions the characters portray and elicit from the reader.

Shadowmagic trilogy I laughed so much throughout this series and wish there were more books to read from this author. One of the best finds in a bookshop in years :)
