Mormonism: Its Leaders and Designs

The author does not appear to be grinding an ax but rather describing his experiences in the beginning church. He describes his experience from boyhood to leaving the church and gives a history of the church mainly during the 1840's. Rarely do we get a this past report of history in such close time proximity. I found the book captivating.

Always great when light is shone in dark places even for Mormons as John has done in this book.
