The Slave Life Narrated by John Brown This is a very good book to anyone interested in the truth of how slaves are mistreated. All of them. Men, women and children. John was very strong, he finally made it. His journey starts as a young boy, and he has to change his name a lot-- you do what your Master says. He runs a lot for he had viscous masters and he pays high prices. One of his Masters was colored and as cruel as thewhite I've never understood how people could treat people the way they did.
