5 Star Review Vampire Guardian (Vampire Queen #17) by Joey W Hill As I have come to expect from a book by Joey W Hill, Vampire Guardian was well written and held me captive from the first page to the last. If you are a fan of paranormal and fantasy romance then this book will be right up your alley. The Vampire Guardian is a love story about soul mates that just happens to revolve around Vampires and the Fae. Both Adan and Catriona are wounded souls who struggle with their places in the world. When they meet at Club Atlantis they know that they cannot pursue anything as relationships between Vampires and Fae are forbidden and yet there is something between them that they cannot ignore despite the repercussions that await them. Nobody writes characters that are damaged and in need like Ms. Hill. The scenes are hot, yet emotional, drawing the reader in so much that you almost feel that you are witnessing it first hand. The road they travel to get to their HEA is long, winding and rocky, but it will be worth it in the end. If you have read other books by Ms.Hill then you will see some familiar faces show up which added to my enjoyment of this book. This is a dark, smoking hot story, with some drama and angst, which had me reading well into the night.
