Joe Biden is a seasoned American politician who was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1942. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in history, he went on to become the sixth-youngest senator in U.S. history at the age of 29. On November 7, 2020, Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, with running mate Kamala Harris as his vice president. He assumed office on January 20, 2021, and has since taken swift action on a range of domestic and international issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and social justice reforms. His presidency has also been marked by a call for bipartisanship and national unity in the face of deep political divisions.
