The book discusses an important topic of domestic abuse but it reeks of misogyny. A male character falls in love with the female character because of her cooking. A male character is strong and good looking yet tender. A female character does not understand pensions even though she is well over 30. If it was not for the majour plot twist in the end, I would give this book 2 stars.

Excellent book. Just when you think it's one story, it takes another twist. Kept me guessing right until the end. I really enjoyed this one. Highly recommend.

just wow. couldn't put it down. Best book I have read for a very very long time. thoroughly enjoyed it. brilliant 👏🏻

JO SPAIN is a full-time writer and screenwriter. Her first novel, With Our Blessing, was a finalist in the Richard and Judy Search for a Bestseller competition and she's become a regular Top Ten Irish bestseller with her subsequent twelve novels. Jo co-writes and produces the internationally acclaimed Harry Wild TV series and is currently working on several TV productions, including the adaptation of her own Detective Tom Reynolds series.
