About this ebook

Every culture has its own folktales. They sometimes explain origins. How did the world begin? How did our community begin? They sometimes explain customs. Why do we eat these foods? Why do we celebrate these holidays? Finally, folktales can include lessons on how to live a useful, honest life. They also tell what happens to people who are not kind and good. Folktales features 15 different stories from around the world.  Some may be familiar to you; others may be new to you. All of them are easy to read and enjoy, with simple grammar and vocabulary.

Improve your reading speed, comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary in a fun and easy way. The Great Stories and Big Ideas readers help you learn about the world while you learn English.
